Williamsburg Part 3

The forties were a memorable time in my life. There were many
newspaper's sold at newsstands and candy stores. The Journal
American, the Daily Mirror,The Herald Tribune were those that
are no longer available. Newspaper's were sold at various time's
of the day.We would wait for the evening editions of the newspaper's.
These edition's are no longer sold.
While a person waited for the evening edition's in a candy store
they could order various types of counter soda's.They could also
choose from various type's of pulp magazine's and comic book's.
Ice cream would usually be purchased in a take out container or
perhap's mellorolls which were placed in an edible square cup.
